Day 38: I realize I haven't updated the blog for a couple of days, but this time I have a good excuse. I've been on vacation at the Copper Mountain Resort in Colorado: Skiing, snow and lots of hot tub time (to recover from the day)!
Day 33: While this photo is certainly not awe-inspiring by any means, I do think it gives everyone a bit of insight into what Berkeley is all about. As if recycling and city-wide composting wasn't enough, several people also have gardens and raise chickens in the very little yard space that they have. This chicken coop sits in a neighbor's front yard. Very trusting if you ask me...
Day 31: Dolores Park is in San Francisco and is crowded with hoards of San Franciscans every weekend drinking beers, playing dodgeball, and just yesterday, there was a crowd of roughly 15 people running in a circle with their hands grasping a single parachute, as if it were 4th grade gym class. Oh how I love this city!

Day 30: This is a new favorite house of mine. It seems like every day I find a new favorite, but this one is going to stay ahead of the game for a while I think.
Day 22: Here's a photo of Brandon blowing glass on our back patio. Not to be too advertise-y, but if you want to see some of his finished pieces, click here.
Day 16: Just behind my house in Berkeley is the Berkeley Hills. I've walked my dog up there multiple times, but only about half way. So today my boyfriend, Brandon, and I decided to trek up the entire hill to see what was at the top. Although the trek was a bit grueling, we made it. And the sights we saw were definitely worth it! Above is a view of the bay with some of the wonderful landscaping that ventured off the property of the house below. Sorry, that's actually the guest house, but you get the picture...
A quaint little hiking trail.
