Day 45: Community Garden in San Rafael

Day 45: I know the phone booth is random, but I haven't seen a pay phone let alone one in an actual booth for ages!

Day 42: Baker Beach

Day 42: Baker Beach is one of my favorite beaches in San Francisco. The view of the Golden Gate is one of the best in the city and you can watch big freight boats coming into the bay. Luckily for you, I didn't close up of the naked guys playing volleyball in the nudist part of the beach.

Day 40: City Hall

Day 40: City Hall with a Farmer's Market in front of it (below).

Day 39: Tilden Park

Day 39: A couple of weeks ago, I showed you photos of Anza Lake in my "Fog on the Lake" photo. Anza Lake is located in Tilden Park in the Berkeley Hills. I go on hikes there often, and here are some more photos of it on a much clearer day.

Day 38: Copper Mountain

Day 38: I realize I haven't updated the blog for a couple of days, but this time I have a good excuse. I've been on vacation at the Copper Mountain Resort in Colorado: Skiing, snow and lots of hot tub time (to recover from the day)!

Day 35: Sausalito

Day 35: Sausalito is a little sailing town north of San Francisco. The city's marinas are filled with citizens that live on the water in houseboats and sailboats. I have to say I've never seen a purple houseboat before...

Day 33: Chicken Coop

Day 33: While this photo is certainly not awe-inspiring by any means, I do think it gives everyone a bit of insight into what Berkeley is all about. As if recycling and city-wide composting wasn't enough, several people also have gardens and raise chickens in the very little yard space that they have. This chicken coop sits in a neighbor's front yard. Very trusting if you ask me...

Day 32: Flower

Day 32: This flower was blooming off of a tree. Again, I'm not very well-educated on the names of trees, so if anyone knows the name of this one, I'd love to hear it!

Day 31: Dolores Park

Day 31: Dolores Park is in San Francisco and is crowded with hoards of San Franciscans every weekend drinking beers, playing dodgeball, and just yesterday, there was a crowd of roughly 15 people running in a circle with their hands grasping a single parachute, as if it were 4th grade gym class. Oh how I love this city!

Day 30: My New Favorite House

Okay, so I realize that I've been slacking on the blog posts lately, and I wanted to apologize. I've been very busy, which I know is not a good excuse, but to be honest, I didn't realize that people were reading it as often as I was posting. I've actually received some e-mails—well one e-mail—asking me what happened to my "one photo a day commitment." And to that, I have no answer, except that I'm going to keep trying my best to add a photo a day. In fact, the photo blog has already paid off. The magazine I work for asked me if I would take some photos for them after seeing my portfolio that contained five photos from my photo project. So, I'm certainly not giving up, although I do admit that there will be days where I won't be able to post. But I will always be back, so no worries...

Day 30: This is a new favorite house of mine. It seems like every day I find a new favorite, but this one is going to stay ahead of the game for a while I think.
